We just bought a Kia Rondo (or Rondo7 in Australia) Does anyone have one of these that they use to put the boats on the roof? I'd like to get an idea of how far other people are hanging the boat off the back end.
We're moving from a Civic which had aftermarket roof racks mounted in the centre of the car. The Kia, because of the wagon style body, has the rack at the back end of the car, so the boats will be further back, relative to the car. I'm just wondering how others have dealt with this. I think the laws here require me to have a red "flag" on the back of my boat if it's going to hang out that far.
