I have an i12 with Turbo Fins , just had my second mast failure without any impact or recognizable cause ( first was a year ago ).

Should I upgrade to V2 instead of replacing the V1 mast ?

Can I keep my old V1 Turbo fins with the new V2 upgrade ?

Any other considerations ? Anyone have failures in V2 with no cause ?

You can just replace the Masts and Sprockets with V2 parts without having to replace the drums and chains.

Thanks Bob,

Do I need to replace my V1 Turbo Fins if I go to V2 Mast and sprocket ?

Also any opinions out there on cable reliability of V1 vs V2 ?
( I have had 2 V1 cable fails )

Just the masts, not the fins. Also, of you always break, say the front mast, you could even just replace that mast and sprocket with the V2 to start with.
