Hello folks,

I've found the weight, and length, width of the hobie Outback but I cannot find the height.

Does anybody has this information?

Regards,

Rick

I put a tape measure through the Mirage Drive hole to the bottom surface of my Outback SUV, laid a straight board sideways across the top and measured exactly 14" from bottom of the boat to the bottom edge of my straight board. I assume that to be the thickest point in the boat, so I'll submit that I think the hull is 14" high.

Thank you very much JettyIslandJim,

I can now recalculate and I allready think the outback will fitt in my shed allthough it has to be placed under an angle of 45 degrees.

And I will have to get it true a door of 87 cm width and 2 meters high, the shed is 2.70 meters high and 3.15 meters deep and 1.85 meters width. The hallway to it is 1.85 meters width and also 2.70 meters high.

It will be a hassle everytime I will get it out or in but I think it's going to be worth it.

Regards,

Rick.

Rick, on another forum I read about someone who had to move a canoe through a narrow gap. He found it helped to turn it on its side and rest it on a skateboard. Just an idea.

By the way,

Did you ever finish your shed? Did the Hobie fit?
