We just purchased a new 2011 Oasis and of course love it. Our first ride was under the full moon gliding silently and effortlessly! However, turning the rudder control unfortunately makes a tight spring coiling sort of noise no matter how slow or fast or softly we turn it. It kind of echos inside the boat. Very noticeable while trying to be stealth. It does turn well though. Is this normal, or is there an adjustment? It just doesn't seem right. Does anyone else have this issue, or solutions? Thanks

Yep, I have the same noise in my new Oasis. Not sure if there's any way to stop it yet.

Actually today I searched forum and learned it is an issue that others have cleared up by reaching in and turning the spring and giving it a shot of silicone spray. Definitely helped, the front one still makes some noise, but I am hopeful it will work itself out. Yay!
