Hi , does anyone have any experience in replacing the control line on a Mirage Classic? I am alos looking for the owners manual for the Classic. My instructions say 7) See the owners manual for line adjustment information. The dealer also had picture instructions for attachment inside the body. He stated that it would be included with the Universal Control line kit #80020001, but all i recieved was a 7 itme list of instructions.

Matt,
Thanks for the guide and video.

2 more questions:
1. since i have the (old) metal inserts for the control line tubing am i correct that i will need to bore a larger hole in the kayak to accomadate the new plastic insert?
2. does the large hatch cover on the mirage classic need any sort of gaskets in order to keep the water out, or are the bungees sufficient?

The Classic's large hatch had a gasket on it. Same stuff we use for the current cargo type hatches. You need 71301001 (6.5') (Trim Loc) I pushes onto and clamps to the black plastic hatch lip / edge.

I believe you can use the line replacement kit #80020001 or just run spectra through the existing holes.
