Hi,
I'm a new and very happy owner of a Hobie Revolution - I assume it's a 2011 model.
Recently I purchased a set of turbo fins for the Revo. The label on the bag indicates #7206601 ("Threaded Mast") and #72065 ("Set Screw/Cotter pin").
When I removed the old masts from the Mirage, I noticed that they had a threaded end (male) joined to a threaded insert in the Mirage (female). Each of the masts of the standard fins were not locked with separate screws or cotter pins.
Now the problem is that the masts of the turbo fins did not come with a threaded end (despite the writing on the package). There is a hole for a cotter pin in one end and small clefts at the other end. Did I get the wrong (old) type of turbo fins? Is there a mistake in the packing/labelling of the content?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Greetings, Dan Copenhagen, Denmark
