It's me again, the newbie from Singapore. I forgot to raise the rudder when beaching the yak I think . When I was loading the yak unto the car, I realised that the rudder was completely detached . It was only hanging on by the spectra. I saw the black rudder pin was severly bent and dislodged.

Bought some new rudder pins online which are grey - my original pin was black -
should fit right?

Anyhow I worked out the steering right/left issue quite well. I just retied the spectra - the knot came undone I think.The problem now is the up/down contraption. There is a lot of loose spectra for the up/down thingy. How do I tighten these up? Do I need to buy anything like a spectra assembly?

The grey pins are the newest, mainly improved for sailing (Adventure Island).

Take a look at this link below especially the bottom selection (Twist and Stow Connections detail) and then scroll down. It should show you what you need.
