At least one of our children believes that young people should have all the money so that they can do more fun things before they get too old to enjoy life. Saving for retirement is therefore, a waste of good money! Never one to question such youthful wisdom, I wrote the following letter to him:
Dear Andy,
It was such a nice day, your Mom and I climbed up out of our rockers and decided to take a journey down to the lake to see if there was any wildlife left. We brought the camera along just in case anything interesting happened.
We met some nice people. Mom is proudly showing them her new dentures:

Being too old to endure the rigors of pedaling, we asked for a lift. Let me tell you, it was a little bit tippy at first. We hung on for our dear lives!

Before you know it, I forgot where we were going and started to get off course.

Well, we finally got back on track when your Mother got a sudden constipation pain!

No sooner did that pass when we got splashed by cold water. The sudden shock practically gave us a heart attack!

We finally got up enough energy to where we could drift on back. We looked high and low for wildlife, bit didn't see a dam thing but a couple of crows. Here's a picture of the shoreline. I can't make it out too well without my glasses.

We eventually gave up, went home and had a good nap. You're right -- there's just not much going on when you get older. By the way, what did you do today?
Love,
Mom and Dad
