New guy here. I recently purchased a used 2005 Hank Parker Outback that seems to be in great condition. I did some reading before purchasing and found out that they are known for hull cracking issues near the drive and also drive issues. As far as i can tell, my kayak seems fine to me. Can anyone please provide pictures of the issues? I want to make sure that it is all good to go before the season starts. Also, I read that hobie had at one point sent out an "upgrade/repair" kit to prevent these issues from occurring. Does anyone have any information on that? Thank you in advance.

After more research, it seems that the one I have is a 2003 model. Do these suffer from the same issues?

2003 is before issues came up with drive wells due to a change in plastic suppliers after that time.

Matt, which model years were the ones which were affected by the problem plastic from that supplier?

Just wanted to bump this to get the span of years on the affected Outback models that had the drive-well problem. Thanks in advance.
