When you invest in a Hobie fishing kayak, you're probably interested in how durable it is and how long the kayak is going to last. While the original owner may not keep a kayak for five or ten years, if the kayak is purchased as a used boat, the guy that buys it a few years down the road is certainly interested if the used kayak he or she is buying is worth the price because a lot of kayak fishermen's first kayak is a used kayak.
I got this Hobie Quest kayak in 2005. I'd been kayak fishing for a few years so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted in a fishing kayak. You can check out some of the kayak fishing adventures on the thread here on the Hobie forums or on my website.
I've posted a short video on how the Hobie Quest has held up under ten years of regular fishing use under conditions that are probably a bit more demanding than your average kayak fisherman, so it's a pretty good look at the durability of the Hobie kayak hulls and general construction.

Admin: Below link was edited to the current Youtube format using only the file code from the URL. The current format for YouTube and Vimeo are pretty much the same format...
You only need the letter or number code specific to the video. None of the http://... URL are used.
Looks something like:
[vimeo]988445[/vimeo]
Your video works as follows:
