i knew to the kayaking, always rented them while at the beach but never owned one. That was until yesterday when I picked up a used hobie maui off craigslist. The main reason for buying a kayak for me was to do some flats fishing where I live in south Louisiana and just troll around on a nice day in lake pontchartrain. How will the maui suit for this? Also what are some must ads for my kayak?

You are going to have fun. Your should hook up with the kayakers in you neighborhood. Fastest way to learn.

Google the clubs in your area and Link up on Facebook.
