The shock cord on the stern of my 2010 or 2011 Revolution is about to break and I can't figure out the part number from the current catalog. This is the shock cord that the stern handle goes through, and that holds down the rudder when the boat is being stored or transported. My boat is basically a Revolution 13, but it dates from before there was a Revolution 11. I am assuming and hoping that all I need is a new shock cord, and not the stuff that attaches it to the hull. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know.

Thank you all.

You might take a look at this info to see if you can pick out the part...... http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_asse ... 140611.pdf

Thanks. That 's what I looked at before. Looking at it more carefully, I guess I need an unspecified length of either RS316BLK 3/16” SHOCKCORD or
RS014BLK 1/4” SHOCKCORD. I might also need a 71115101 TOOL SCREW in FITTINGS to unscrew the attachment point, which may be a 71115001
SHOCKCORD END. I assume that's reusable. I'll have to look at more closely and measure what's there. My recollection is that it was doubled over going into the hull, which doesn't quite look like the single shockcord end.

It is doubled over (loop). Should be the 3/16" cord into the single end fitting. You can used needle nose pliers as a substitute tool.

Thank you very, very much. We're great fans of your product. I'm sure that, at some point, I'm going to have to do this for our other two Revolutions.
