Mirage model ID and parts questions

I just bought a used Mirage serial number CCMU0879B999. Thanks to the forum I've been able to determine the month and year of manufacture but not the model. I think it is a classic but would appreciate confirmation/correction of this. Everything seems to be working properly but I'm also curious if ST or Turbo fins will work with a mirage drive of this age.

Great find and it looks to be in sharp condition! I put Turbos on my 2000 Drive. You should be able to mount ST fins easily on your Drive directly, and if Hobie still has some V-1 Turbofin masts (with the cotter pin hole on one end) you should be able to mount the Turbos as well. That model is relatively light and very efficient up to it's hull speed. I would recommend the STs for a nice performance upgrade without taking a chance of over-stressing the drivewell with Turbos. You've got a real "Classic" and a great little kayak! The Classic's final year of production was 2006.

It is in great shape for a one year old boat much less a 15 year old boat. There are some minor scuffs on the bottom but other than that it looks new.

I got the boat, drive, paddle, dolly and trailer with three new wheels/tires for $1200 which I thought was a good deal. What do you guys think?
