Thinking about buying a 2013 Hobie Outfitter. What are some of the things to look for when buying a used Hobie? I've seen posts about hull cracks and bad drives. Any advice on what/where to check? Richard

There shouldn't be any cracks in a 2 year old kayak. I would check the drive well and all of the scupper holes though.

Cracked hull issues were more often found in boats 2006-2009. You can look around the drive well and elsewhere to confirm, but 2013 Outfitter? Should be no issues with drives. If it looks good and appears to function... it's good.
