Hi,
Just traded in a WS for a new 2016 Hobie Revolution 13. Love it. Question is I have been using a Malone kayak hammock system to store my kayak upright in the garage, suspended over my car. This worked fine for my previous kayak. Kayak is always empty and rinsed before hoisting using the straps.

I see in the kayak owners manual and on other threads the various storage methods but do not see upright storage using this strap system. These are wide 2" straps so it seems they should distribute the load across the hull. I like this method because I can just lower the kayak upright and pop in the Hobie scupper wheels to walk the kayak to my neighborhood boat ramp.

Is this storage method acceptable or am I inviting problems in the future?

Thanks in advance.
