I was wondering if anyone is using some of the lesser expensive seats from amazon and just making two holes in them and fitting the locking mechanism into them?

The webbing on my Hobie seat literally tore off right at the attachment point of the seat. To fix it i would need to find a tailor that would unstitch the whole back rest and then resow the webbing onto it. and then stitch it all up again.

So hopefully theres a way to save some money and get a seat.

Thanks for the help guys!
