Will the H-Bar install on a Revolution 13? Hobie seems very vague about what models it will work on.

I suggest that you try standing up in your Revolution before you invest in a H-Bar. It's kind of a stunt. Be prepared to end up in the water. If you want to do a lot of stand-up fishing, you should check out the Pro-Anglers.

Yes - you can put the adjustable H Bar on most boats (including Revo 13) We've made videos for the Outback - it basically fits the same on the Revo - use the provided short center bar and adjust the sides to fit.

thanks for the info, no one (even Hobie) seemed to know for sure. I keep reading about how it fits most models but never a list of which models, very frustrating.

It might be a good idea to invest in the sidekick ama kit (part number 72062101) if you plan on doing a good deal of standing on your Revo. These are especially useful when sight fishing, and allows you to concentrate on the fishing and not the balancing.

I have just done this and found the lower position can't be used as the adjustment holes line up with the sides of the kayak so you can't use the lowest setting, which is the one you want when standing. I got around this by not fully tightening the clamps so I can rotate the bar with two hands, that way you can get to the the buttons and remove it at the end of the day. I have yet to use it but I am sure it will work well.

The center bar can manually rotate within the plastic clamps to allow you to access the lowest setting for your amas. This is normal.

We will have another look. Seems... if you drilled a hole 90 degrees from the existing one for the spring button... you could get the high position with the button facing forward. middle "button up" and low with "button aft".

Awesome, thanks for the picture, that helps a lot. Have you tried out the H-Bar without the AMA's?
