In 2017 or 2018 I bought a used tandem Oasis build in Dec 2014 but is a 2015 model year (per Hull ID). The previous owner had it in a garage in Dana Point, but said they had bought it to use in Hawaii (salt water). They were moving to Colorado so were selling it.

Anyhow, it came with the red fins installed, and the brand new blue ones in a bag. I'm assuming the blue were the standard that came with that drive (is it the V2 drive?) and the red ones were the turbo fins at the time.

I see one mast is bent, can I bend it simply back into place? I saw RoadRunner's excellent 2009 write-up, but the photos were not viewable and it is for much earlier model year yaks.

It would be great if the damage and cracking of the fins were warrantied, but I'm assuming they are too old and out of warranty (Matt?)

What fin model to I look for to replace the damaged ones? Also, can this drive take on the new ST Turbo grey/black super turbo fins easily? I'm guessing these are the new and improved replacements to the red turbo fins?

Pics below

Thanks!

Also, my steering control handles are disintegrating. Pix below. Are these the standard handles, part #81013001, or are there special ones with risers or because they are on a tandem oasis mirage?

Thanks!

Yeah, not a warranty.

You can bend the mast back. Place the mast in a vise and use the drive as leverage to bend it straight.

Replacement fins are your choice of color and length.

The ST is the shorter ones. The ST Turbo is the longer ones.

Thanks Matt. Which is the appropriate rudder steering control handles for the 2015 tandem Oasis?
