I ordered a Hobie twist and stow sailing rudder for my Revo 13. It came in yesterday. I noticed the packaging had been opened so when I pulled the rudder out of the plastic packaging I noticed the backside of the rudder is warped in one area. I placed a straight edge along the side of the rudder and the warp is about 1/4" out of alignment from the rest of the rudder. The rudder on my Revo is straight as an arrow and has no warp in it at all.

Is this normal?

Unfortunately... yes. They are so thin that they are a little warped. This should have no effect of performance.
