Have a brand new Passport 12 and was wondering about transport. I have a truck with a 6.5 foot bed. I live 2 hours away from a lake that i frequently fish so it is not a short trip (some lakes are even further). I was wondering is it ok to transport the kayak upside down (or right side up) on foam blocks or do i have to get a bed extender. I was wondering because I know this is a thermoform kayak and I don't know how much more sensitive to deformation they are than the rotomold kayaks. Any help would be appreciated.

No problem with some hanging out. Support at the tailgate edge. Best upside down.
