The bungee cord which is used for carrying the kayak, on the rear of my Revolution, needs to be replaced. Is there an easy way to do this? Do the plastic anchors through which the cord is threaded need to be removed and if so, how do they come out?

There is a handle on the stern for carrying. There is a bungee for holding the rudder down when stowed. The bungees are not for carrying, so unclear on the question, but you should be able to replace bungee in the cargo area without removing the fittings. The rudder one can be un-threaded to replace.

The carrying handle is aft and hard with rope to a metal eye.
