The seat on my 16’ Revo simply won’t stay locked in. However it will lock in on my 13' Revo. So the problem is not the seat but the frame below.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Both kayaks were bought new at the end of 2019.
Thanks.

Thanks, Matt. I appreciate the quick reply. What is the best way to level it?

Depends... it runs on a gear in the black boxes. Did it skip or maybe build off by one tooth? The box can be unscrewed from the hull which should allow you to set it to the correct tooth. Check pulled all the way up or down maybe? Count the teeth in some way. Just an idea. I can have Jacques (Warranty) respond if we get some more detail of what is wrong.

I figured out my problem. If I raise the bar that the seat sits in to its highest position then the seat locks in the way it should. Then I can lower the seat to a more stable position and it stays locked in. The problem was caused by my ignorance because I was trying to connect the seat with the bar halfway down.

Should be able to lock it at any height, I have a revo16 and will lock at any height, though it is easier at full height

I thought the problem was fixed but I was wrong, the seat still pops out. It simply won't stay locked in. The seat stays locked in on the Revo 13 but not in the 16 footer. Very irritating in a swell. Any suggestions? Thanks. The Revos are new.
