Wait time

Just curious how long folks have been waiting on a kayak ordered within the last couple of months? I ordered 1 over a month ago and the dealer cannot tell me when it will be shipped. I am told that Hobie is not giving ship times on orders. I understand that Covid19 has slowed things down and that demand is high but it would just be nice to have an idea when I might have it. Hopefully sometime before Christmas?

Just called a dealer in another state to see what they had in stock and was told that Hobie has stopped production for the rest of year and will not have anymore kayaks until after the first of the year? Has anyone else heard this?

I ordered a compass duo in the middle of July. I have been told it will ship by the end of August. The dealer has no Hobie kayaks in stock, and is going to be putting his demo and rentals up for sale in late September. Hopefully I will have my new dup by then!
