I’m planning on adding a HB Helix 5 to my PA 12 (it’s on order)I’m planning on installing it to the right side “H” rail just forward of the seat. Can someone recommend one for me that is the most stable the one I currently have doesn’t lock down well I almost have to use 2 hands to read fine detail as it seems to vibrate in place.

I have neither an HB Helix 5 nor a PA 12. But I do have a Garmin chartplotter mounted on an H-rail on my Oasis using the Hobie H-Rail Universal Mounting Plate and the provided Garmin mount. This setup is very sturdy and stable. Bouncing along at almost 5 mph the display detail is easy to read.
