I have a 10+ yr old Revo in great shape and just feel I ought to replace the steering line....? I've ordered from Austin Kayak before, with good luck, and they appear to sell it by the foot. Without pulling out the old -- how much do I need? I've done several searches, plus an online manual --zip. Do I not EVER need to replace it?! Thanks in advance.

Not necessary really. That stuff is tough! If you do... get the line replacement kit.

Thanks so much, Matt!! I've practiced steering just with my paddles a lot -- just in case:)
