I have a 2020 Compass camo with the MD 180 w/KU turbo fins. I've only had it out a few times and nearly everytime I pull my drive the fins are in the "kick-up" position. They appear to kick-up just from drifting through the wateer. I've seen the videos on how to adjust the setscrew on the boom, but it seems the threads in the boom are not holding. If I turn the setscrew in to where it just contacts the boom, when I kick-up the fin it visibly pushes the setscrew out. I've replaced the setscrew and when putting in a new screw, the screw slides into the hole most of the way. Looking at the threads in the hole, it appears that they are not very deep. Its like the hole is too large for the screw. It has been this way since I got it a couple of months ago. Has anyone else had this issue with the KU adjustmnet screws?

File a claim to get new booms.

The set screw is not needed and is just a way to make handling the drive easier without the fins flopping around. They will still work fine.

Thanks for your quick response. You are correct, the drive still works OK. I would just like to have it setup correctly. I will contact my dealer to start the process. Looks like its a pretty simple process to replace them once you have the parts.
