Hi everyone,

The idler cable on my drive broke, i noticed the drive still works without the idler cable. Is it OK if I keep using the drive without an idler cable? Thanks.
By the way, also, how to adjust foot strap of the pedal? When I wear bigger shoes i need to loosen the footstrap. Thanks.

It will still work but adds a lot of load to each chain. The idler balances the load on each stroke.

You pull the strap tab outboard to release from the peg on the pedal, adjust and then press back on.
