Can’t find any Hobie AMA Sidekick Kits ????

Hi, I live in Australia and own a Hobie Compass. I’m just wondering does anyone know what is happening with these AMA Sidekick kits??? Are they still being made or do we just have to buy a cheap Chinese rip-off?
I’ve been waiting to buy a set for the last 10 months and not a single shop in Australia has any stock or even knows when they will be available ????
Even when I look on American websites they have none or limited stock..

Are Hobie not making these anymore. Tried talking with the Australian Hobie rep and he didn’t even seem to know???

Come on Hobie….. if you aren’t going to make them anymore then can you at least remove them off your website?

I did hear that they moved a production plant to Mexico but not sure how true this is and if it is then what’s happening with your stock???

Would prefer to buy proper Hobie parts but if it’s not available for coming up to a year then do I just buy cheap Chinese rip-off stock???
