I have two damaged spines. I need some guidance on if I can make one whole one from parts from each.
The first spine has a broken part on the lower/front section - might be called the boom. It’s the part to which the mast connects and pivots with the chain.
The second spine has a frayed reverse/forward cord. This latter spine is what I bought when I damaged the first. Within ~20 hrs of use the pin on the front fin worked itself out about 1/4” and frayed the cord. Hobie replaced the spine under warranty.
So I have a working drive but would love to get one of these two damaged ones in working order as a backup.

Replacing the reverse/forward cord looks to be a difficult task. Has anyone tackled that?
