I hadn't paid much attention to how the cart fits until recently. Should I be concerned the posts do not extend into the tank well on my Outback?

The carts are universal for all Hobie Kayaks, some fit farther into the well than others, you are fine just make sure that if/when you go over rough terrain make sure the cart stay properly installed. you may be able to all a piece of pvc to extend the cart upwards, I have not tried to see if there is room in the scupper hole or not just and idea.

I was thinking about slipping some rubber tubing over it, haven't checked for clearance yet.
Pvc would be better if it fits, thank you.
