Two aging Revolutions have broken rudder steering lines. I see kits for $105, but it seems like I should be able to replace the Spectra 1.75 line that failed. If anyone could point me to a vendor, and also know of a good youtube vid I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Suggest using Scotty down rigger braided line, 200# test. Spectra is high tech braided line like the Scotty line and tougher than hell!

Thanks very much for responding.
Before I buy it, I tried searching again at zon and had better luck. Here's Spectra 1.9, 550 test. Would the .15 mm make a difference in threading?

No idea, but this line should be larger in OD than the Scotty down rigger line.
I know in postings years ago, the strength of Hobie's line was mentioned. Matt Miller and Road Runner will know this detail.
