I purchased sidekicks for my Oasis and must have recieved the one set of perfect wellnuts. When I first put them in I was worried because everyone said they pop out and are good for nothing; although, being that I can't reach the underside it was the only choice.

It has been 6 months now and I am happy to report that they have stood up to all I could throw at them. First off I sail a lot in the San Francisco Bay and put a lot of stress on the sidekicks and just recently gave them the true test.

I was sailing the Bay and decided to cross under the Golden Gate from the San Francisco side to the Sausalito side while staying under the Bridge the entire time. All was going great until the half way point. At that moment a gust hit us and sped us up to the point that the nose started to submarine, at that moment another gust hit the sail and sunk the outrigger under and we capsized dead center under the bridge.

It was very exciting, but the point is that the wellnuts must have been pushed as hard as they will ever be pushed and they held strong.

I love my wellnuts and will continue to use them in all of my future modifications.

Just thought I would add one positive post on wellnuts.
