Hey folks, new to this forum and I am ordering a Revo this week. Anyone know if the upgraded drives are between sent out with new kayaks? My local dealer wasnt positive that they were. Thanks.

The two '08 Revo's I unwrapped this week had the latest drives.... At least as far as I know with regards to "latest".

I picked up my new Oasis yesterday. Drives were the new model. I guess it would have have been a few weeks in transit to reach me (Western Australia) so I guess the new drives must be well and truely in distribution.

Mostly the kidney shaped drum. Check some of Roadrunner's posts - he had a picture of the new ones.

I think the improvement is significant and have upgraded mine. Crank arm flexing problems due to drum warpage are gone, pedal skipping is no longer an issue for me, cable adjustment is 10 times faster and easier. Here's what's different:

Here's how to upgrade in interested:

There is no need to upgrade if you're not having problems, but if you're a heavy Turbo user especially, it's nice to know about! 8)
