Hi folks,

I’m gearing up for a multi-day kayak trip (using a Hobie-style craft) and I’m considering taking freeze dried food along. They seem like a decent shout since they’re lightweight, have a long shelf life, and are easy to whip up with just some hot water.
Has anyone here used freeze-dried food on extended kayak or catamaran trips? How do you find storing it in limited space? Also, does it actually keep you fuelled properly and taste alright after a few days on the water?
Any tips on packing or prepping these meals efficiently would be grand too.

Cheers in advance for any advice, keen to get this right before I set off!
