New to me boat, and a big problem.

I will contact both of those people for advice.

I found a starboard hull that is in good shape other than a hole in the bottom for just about free so I am considering making a repair on it over working on my hull. It was damaged buy a piece of lawn equipment.

I decided I will see if I can find a good hull for a little while before I try to make the repair. I know that as soon as I completed the repair one will pop up just around the corner.

Well the stars alinged and I got lucky. Yesterday I got an e-mail from a member here that his H18 was involved in a collision leaving the port hull trashed and was parting the boat out. Turned out to be a perfect match, all the way down to the same stripe on the side. The best part was that it was only 18 miles away! So I purchased a hull from this man and he was nice enought to give me a tiller extension so I am really hoping to hit the lake soon. I do not know what his name is on here, but I REALLY appreciate it, made my week for sure.

Nice! I have found that there are so many deals to be had with 18 parts that taking a risk usually pays off if you have the patience.
