Free Hobie 18

Hello Hobie Cats!

Sorry if this post needs to be in classifieds, I just want all the 18 guys to see it.

I have an 80s something Hobie 18 that IMHO is beyond repair and I'm too old. However, if someone wants a project and has lots of time and money, here's your challenge.

The Good: Lots, of original parts, mast, boom, crossbars, traveler, downhaul, castings, main sail, dagger boards, standing rigging, trapeze, jib furler, etc..

The Bad: the hulls are shot, rudders snapped, jib flogged, tramp toasted, sheets crusty

She's on a trailer that needs, tires, light, paint, straps

Did I mention FREE? Located in Rockwood, TN if you come haul her off she's yours.
