Thanx for the replies. Being both an engineer and a machinist I still haven't given up on the idea of building my own.

My Magnum wings were $300 and included all of the mounting hardware and tramps. The shipping was going to be $200 but I have a friend who owns a trucking company so shipping was free.

When opportunity knocks it pays to have the cash to make it happen. :D

DVL, you got a good deal. I don't think I could make them for much less than that.

Bud, I am an Engineer and a former Machinest/Tool & Die maker. I couldn't make them for anything near that price. The older I get the more I realize how valuable time actually is.

I'd rather spend time with my family & friends or sailing than being stuck in the shop making things.

I understand that completely. I was thinking more of finding somethig to do while my wife is working, considering friends are usually busy with other things and the closest lake is an hour's drive away.

SOME OF THE WINGS COME WITH ALL OT THE PARTS. When you install a set of wings, make sure you find the af supporter brackets and posts! In any case, the wings are the "gentleman's boat" and we love them.
