 Post subject: Cat trax or Beach Trax

In relationship to the daggerboards where would the beach system fit on the 18 ft HOBIE?? Fore or Aft and how many inches.

I slide them under the shrouds,this is a good balance point and you wrap the
ropes around the shrouds a couple of times to keep them from sliding fore or aft.

Mine have cradles on them and I slide to just in front of the dagger well and tie off on the dolphin striker. I like to push down on the nose a little, feel like I have better control of the boat than with it balanced.

Put the wheels under the dagger board trunks / shrouds, which is the balance point - it's easier to move the boat around.

Where can I buy another set of H18 cradles for my Cat Trax? Mine somehow got stripped out, and the home made brackets I had don't hold tight any more.
