This forum won't let you reference dynamic URLs, like the ones in that photo gallery. There are other ways to skin a cat through:

Here they are both still un named, and that bothers me. I have a kitty cat named smokey, I call him smoke a dok for fun, so I want to name one boat that or, Smokey The Cat. Maybe name the other Smokey The Cat 2

My wife told me, "Sometimes, you have to
Image"

So I did. I picked this 1983 Hobie 18 up this weekend, 10/16/09 for what I feel is a fair price. It has been in a shed for the last 14 years.

A simple hosing down and a few hours in the water and it looks like I imagine it did when it left the showroom + a few very minor marks. It has had one owner who states it has only been on the water a hand full of times and always stored in a shed. The sails have been in a sealed tube and they look and feel just as new as the hulls. He even loosened the battons. The dagger boards need a bit of work, but winter is on the way so I should have plenty of time to get them looking nice and shiny as well. The sails are the Jalapeno 80 Nationals Pattern.

I hope to have some pics of it on the water in a few days.

Rock Solid!!!! I had it in the water Saturday and Sunday for probably 4 hours, not a drop of water in the hulls. As soon as I get the images, I will be sure to post them.

Ok, here are some images from our fleets season finale. Of course, our awesome fleet photographers Jay Blackwell and his daughter Rachel(sp) are to thank for these.

Thanks, I am very excited about this boat. I just wish I had found it earler in the year so I did not have to wait so long to sail it again :(
