I want to have a meet up this weekend, I'm tired of smoking the 14 and 16's, and need some real competition.

12 noon 10/10/09 Saturday is the time in Sail Bay, Mission Bay, San Diego.

I'm sail number 10505 with a blue tramp and white hulls. H-18
Id like to get someone to take some videos of me sailing. I got a camera. I need two hands to sail and can't work the camera.

My name is JD

Come to Havasu for the HAVAMEGA ! ! !
You will be able to get in 5 days of racing at the best attended Hobie 18 North American Championship event in over 10 years.
Currently there are 27 Hobie 18's pre registered and some of the top Hobie 18 sailors in the country will be there.
There will be a Hobie 18 Specific seminar sometime during the week.

Its just too far, and can't get the time off work.

Couple of questions thou, Do I need a SX to race there, mine is a standard 18. Are there any standard 18 races anywhere

The 18s will mostly be standards at Havamega, so you would be in good company.

Can't get time off work, oh come on now, no one ever went to the grave saying
"I wish I had spent more time at work instead of SAILING" :D

Too FAR ?????? this is the CLOSEST the North American Championship's have been to you in many years. There are people coming from Canada, Australia, and the New England States. This is a great opportunity for you to participate in a NAC event that is less than two days drive away. :D

Comp Tip is required ...... if that is all that is holding you or anyone else back, we will find a way to get you covered on that one. I have a spare mast I can bring. I know that there are others that can bring a spare comp tip equipped mast if needed.

Come out and play with us !!! :D

Stephen
