If you have bought the blue/white oversized bungee cord, tie off one end to a rudder pin. Usually, we tie a short piece of 1/8" or 3/16" line to the pin, and tie the line to the bungee, whatever works for you.
Run the Bungee forward, on the outside of the hull, to the S/Steel RING that you attach the daggerboard bungee to, then through the dolphin striker post, then to the S/S RING on the other hull, back to the other rudder pin.
In this way, you have killed two birds with one stone - you have a righting line, plus you have a chicken line for when you/your crew are out on the wire. Hold the bungee cord with your (rear) hand, and there is less chance that you'll take that 'unexpected journey to the bow' when you hit the wave in front of you.
Good winds.
