Ok its a 1984 H18 I already got the newer style rudder system with EPO rudders used and a Hobie Mesh tramp (like new!) So I plan on buying all new cams, plungers and gudgeon nyliners bushings.

Questions:
The boat has a worn out neoprene rail kit is this the kind to replace it with?

The shockcord in the boom is bridle so I need to replace all the lines in the boom can I do it without removing the end cap? What size line and shock cord do I need?

Tramp lacing, trapeze ropes & mast rotator can I just buy the same line for all of them and what size & type? (do not want bungee cord tramp lacing)

Downhaul upgrades suggestions?

Besides rigging and anchor pins any other nessary parts to add to my list?

No. You must remove the aft endcap to replace the outhaul shock cord. You also must remove the outhaul cleat since the bungee cord ties off on the internal mounting bracket for the outhaul cleat.

Removing the end cap is real easy. Just remove the two rivets and it should pull right off. Be careful not to lose the rollers and axles on the outhaul car when you pull the car out. If the boat has been sailed in salt water, the screws for the outhaul cleat may be frozen.
