My H18 is missing one of the covers for the end cap on the front cross bar I looked in the manual does not look like they sell this part anyone know?
The link has a photo of the end cap you can see the the gap and the edges are sharp I filed them down a bit but really want to get the cover for it.

The caps were installed with plastic screws that didn't last. They are removed from most boats as they didn't fit well and were a PITA to remove if stainless screws were used to replace the plastic ones. You don't need them as hitting that area is very rare.

To my knowledge Hobie is no longer making that part.

Discontinued years ago. They never fit right in later years.

Wow, I have a small fortune in front crossbar end cap covers laying around! I think I have 3 or 4 of the buggers, both in silver and black. $5 - $10 each depending on condition (good used to brand-new-never used).

I know, my wife tells me the same thing...

The Hobie dealer in Pinkney, Michigan also has half a dozen brand new covers in a box of misc parts (as of summer 2010)...I don't recall the price.
