Anybody happen to know the length of the trap wires on a regular 18? I'm building some and don't have anything to go by. I know they are each built out of a single wire just need to know how long.

From the Hobie wire guide, 19 feet. The set I spliced up fit just right.

For a H18 Magnum you will need to shorten them by approximently 6"-9" .... from that length ... (if I remember correctly ....)

Just a regular old '82 18. Trying to save some money by building myself. Found the swageing tool at lowes for $25 and got the appropriate wire from a rigging supply store.
