Looking at getting some new shroud cables made up as no availability in the UK.

Anyone got any numbers for the loading on the cables.

Looks like the existing cable is 4mm 1x19 supposed to be good for approx 1300kg load.

What is the solid termination on the hull end called?

Thanks in advance.

Phil.

Correct, the cable is 5/32” or 4mm diameter. Make sure that you use type 304 or 316 stainless steel.
The fitting on the hull end is a marine swage eye. The mast hound end is a thimble.
Here is info on the length.
