I rebuilt my furler but it will not unfurl by just pulling the jib sheet - you have to do it by hand. However, it will furl without too much resistance.
Any ideas? Do I need more tension on the forstay?

Thanks,

J.

Less tension on the forestay. You want the mainsheet loose when furling or unfurling. Mainsheet tension causes the upper swivel to bind. Or it may be time to replace the upper forestay pigtail and swivel all together.
