Can you take the handle part off, and use it as a regular Paddle-only SUP on occasion?
What is the pricing on these?

Absolutely! It is a very nice SUP with paddle.

Check pricing from a local dealer... this site is international, so no pricing is typically given.

With the 'mirage drive unit' removed; there is a 'plastic plug', that can be inserted into the deck hole to 'fill the gap', and smooth out the bottom. Paddles well. :P Or if you keep the mirage drive in; you can use the bungee to keep one foot platform DOWN (fins 'retracted' against the bottom of hull), and paddle that way. :D

OK; 'where' do you stow your SUP paddle on the Eclipse..... when you are 'stepping'? Here is what I came up with; 1) Get a large 'pool noodle', cut off a section a couple inches longer than the width of your paddle. Place a 'slit' in the top of the noodle. 2) Put a bungee through the large 'hole', and around the bottom of the handlebar shaft. 3) Place the paddle blade into the 'slit', and velcro strap the paddle shaft to the handlebar shaft. -- easy to remove, when needed --ImageImage
