rudder not returning

on the weekend i had a problem with the steering getting hard to turn & on inspection the rudder was sticking half up. on further inspection at home i thought the foam blocks may have been restricting the return of the rudder lift cord.this wasnt the case but i noticed that the bungee cord on the rudder pull cord was catching on the screws that hold on the tracks . these screws stick out about 14 inch & there is 5 of them right where the cord runs. i have covered the threads of the screws to stop it catching with moulding plastic shaped to be snoother. just a heads up as the map pocket screws also protrude
