What is the recommended grease/oil for the rudder spring?

I had an issue with the rudder not wanting to drop unless I pushed the cord into the hull. I took the rudder off and rinsed off the spring it had some grease and a blade of grass or something in there. It works better now but still not perfect.

Also is there something that should be sprayed on the black rudder drop cord? Mine is stiffening up from repeated salt water exposure it seems and that also might be part of the problem.

Hobie Lube is non-toxic to the environment, so it is preferred.

Check this though: https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=64774

OK I have Hobie Lube. It seemed like there was an actual grease on there and not a thin oil so wasn't sure if it was good enough.
