Hi - just took delivery of a 2021 Compass 12’ and installed the rectangular hatch and bought the gear box but the gear box is to deep which makes the hatch not close, something I’m missing here.

I did the mod shown in the video above. Was easy to do (dremel) and worked like a top

No glue needed. He used a soldering iron to plastic weld it.
